Project Updates

Summer 2026

Design remains at 95% completion. Final plans were partially submitted on June 30, 2026. Bid advertising is anticipated for late Summer 2026 but may be placed on hold pending the City Council's intersection analysis. AT&T utility relocation is complete, and right-of-way clearance is anticipated to be completed at the end of Summer 2026.

Overview

This project will improve mobility and reduce congestion in Northeast Kyle by extending Lehman Road northeast from Bunton Creek Road to Dacy Lane as a four-lane roadway and extending Kyle Parkway to connect with the new segment.

2022 Road Bond Update

Per City Council direction on July 7, 2026, we are conducting updated traffic studies to reevaluate intersections throughout the City of Kyle. A recommendation will be provided once updated data has been collected and analyzed. Pedestrian facility is also being evaluated. Due to these ongoing evaluations, current plans are subject to change.
