Limits: Lehman Road northeast from Bunton Creek Road to Dacy Lane, and extension of Kyle Parkway to connect to the new segment of Lehman

Overview

This project will improve mobility and reduce congestion in Northeast Kyle by extending Lehman Road northeast from Bunton Creek Road to Dacy Lane as a four-lane roadway and extending Kyle Parkway to connect with the new segment.

March 2026

Design is approximately 95% complete. We’re now waiting on final comments to be addressed so the plans can be finalized and the 100% design package completed.

    Total Project Cost = $42.5 M

    • Requests for Construction Proposals: Early 2026, following design approval

    • Construction: to begin Spring 2026 and complete in Fall 2027

Closing in on final design! The Kyle Parkway/Lehman Road Extension is now 90% complete. This 1.3-mile project will connect Bunton Creek Road to Dacy Lane. Full PS&E is expected by August 18.

Center Street designs submitted, Jack C. Hays segment at 60%, Kyle Parkway designs submitted

Big moves in Kyle! With four roundabouts and major extensions on the horizon, the Parkway/Lehman project is full speed ahead, designs submitted and utilities under review.
