Kohlers to Seton - Construction

Construction is moving forward along the Kohlers to Seton corridor. Work is currently happening in several areas, including near Bebee Road (West). Along the future Bebee Road connection between Republic Drive and the planned Kohlers Crossing/Bebee Road roundabout, crews are building up the roadway base and installing storm drainage pipes. Additional roadway preparation is taking place near the future Vybe Trail. Utility companies are also relocating lines in the area to clear the way for upcoming road and bridge construction.

Stormwater improvements are progressing as well. Crews are excavating and building retaining walls for a new stormwater detention pond, installing drainage systems, and constructing sidewalk, curb, and gutter along the IH-35 frontage road.

Kohlers to Seton (IH 35 at Kohlers Crossing)- Early-Stage Design

Early design plans for the project are about 60% complete. At the end of February, the team submitted an updated intersection study and revised design plans to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) for review. We anticipate receiving feedback from TxDOT in March and will share updates as they become available.
